What can I do for you?
I can offer two things; my experience and my love for travel. I believe the first to be valuable in assisting others to make informed judgements and the latter to be essential in offering honest and unbiased opinion in travel related issues.
This breaks down into two distinct but related topics:
- Expert Travel Advice
- Tailor made travel itineraries
For many years now have been guiding tours, advising on travel itineraries and offering advice to a range of people from savvy travellers and busy executives to those on gap year experiences. I have customised itineraries for scores of travellers and given first hand advice on the local area.
I have run outward-bound courses and worked with team building exercises for local groups incorporating specialist knowledge advisers where necessary.
If a region is not in my usual sphere I have drawn upon other experts for advice to form a coherent plan for the trip. The website is an effort to bring together those services and make them accessible to the Internet user.
If you want advice on a forthcoming trip, need an itinerary to suit a budget or special event or help with planning a group trip or team event I can help.
I offer a free initial consultation to discuss the issues and charge very reasonable fees easily offset by the peace of mind and time saved in planning the trip or event.
I am not a travel agent; I take my fees directly from my clients for the advice given. Other parts of the website are set up to give visitors access to selected booking websites, travel gear reviews, trip reports and photos plus whatever else I can cram on the website. Please feel free to click through and buy. I get a little income from this and it helps to provide the content on the website. Honest and transparent.
Please wander about the site and feel free to comment and make suggestions. If you have questions, don't be afraid, just ask. Use the contact form, phone or email - details on the contact me page. Remember the start of a great journey begins with a single step.
